Hi guys. It's a little off topic and self-promoting but some of you might like to know that last summer I was asked to play piano. organ and synth on an Allman Brothers Tribute album that features a lot of famous artists. That album has now been released:

https://cleorecs.com/store/shop/midnight-rider-a-tribute-to-the-allman-brothers-band-cd/

Should be a great CD. Hope you'll order a copy and enjoy!

Best Regards,

Jim Eshleman aka “Esh”

Congrats. What a great gig that must have been. I'll look for you on the DVD; it's on my 'to buy' list.

Thanks to everyone. No one shot any video so don't expect a DVD, but I do think it's going to be a great album.

I only hope my version of "Jessica" stands up to scrutiny... Chuck Leavell's original piano solo is iconic in rock history and now I'll have to live with my version of it on record forever (eek!).

It was an honor to be asked to pay homage to some great guys who richly deserve a tribute album... the immortal Allman Brothers Band.

I saw Dickey Betts earlier last year and he had his son with the band. They did Jessica with 3 part harmony on 3 Les Pauls. It was very cool.
