Last spring my PSR S 750 was brand new. While exploring the capabilities of this keyboard the senseless tragedy of the Boston Marathon bombing occurred. I wrote these two songs to express my feelings. I have been a teacher most of my life and the little boy who was lost was the same age as the Grade 3 students i taught in my first year of teaching. It hit me pretty hard that he was taken from his family and his mother was seriously injured. I was watching CNN and saw that someone had scrawled graffiti on a brick wall. The words, "Only light drives darkness away." inspired the first song.
The second song was inspired by the idea that those responsible were hiding in the crowd watching the chaos they had unleashed. And by the fact that they took their inspiration from the source of evil.
These two songs are pretty much my only "rock style" originals. As such I was hoping to get some feedback. Thank you Donny for your reply. Was hoping to hear from more of you. God Bless, Don

Well done Don. They are great and convey the emotion you were feeling. I enjoyed the guitar parts on them. And your choice of images on Man In Black helped drive the message home.

Don ... I have been out of town and this is the first chance I've had to listen to these tracks ... they are very emotional, and obviously inspired by a tragic incident ...
