I use the gig easy iPad mount, and have been very pleased with its performance and durability!

Donny,
I have been using the GigEasy holders for about 2 years. I currently am using the same one you just ordered - i bet you will like it. I had to change holders when I bought the new iPad Air because is't footprint is smaller than older iPads.

By the way, I'am using UnRealBook now on my iPad Air for displaying my lead sheets and absolutely love it.

I feel more at ease too, as I am expecting mine any day for my Surface Pro 2.

I have many Win apps, but didn't want the restrictions of RT. 8.1 is a snap to learn, and everything works seamlessly.

I have two On Stage mini booms for the ipad and Surface 2 attached to the back of my stand so I can see them low and straight on.

BTW the mic stand attachment from On Stage fits both size openings. I know because I use them on different stands. It expands as you tighten.
