Hello, any tips for securing non rack components in a rack case, e.g.; arranger module, small mixer etc? I want to transport the components in the rack case, and then place them atop the case for use. Thanks.
Ciao,
Jerry

Jerry, maybe a rack case with a removable lid is an option - that way you can leave the arranger in the case and still have access?

I would worry about ventilation of the equipment. My wife says I worry too much, though.

Good luck,

Gary cool

Opening a lid provides UBER ventilation. Listen to your wife Gary.

Thanks everyone. I already have a 4 space, wood, carpeted rack case that I want to use. I use Don Mason’s old console when I use a keyboard stand. But for gigs with the KX5 and/or midi accordion, I like to set up the components lower right. I have been using the console balanced on a tray stand or an empty case but it is not a stable set up. I initially thought I could tack Velcro straps in the case to hold the stuff … I still may do that with some added padding …
Ciao,
Jerry
