Just found these Audya Styles on intternet, which got me wondering if these might actually the best styles i ever heared.

But then something that good deserves a thread of its own, dont you agree?

Sounds excellent no doubt! But I also like the warm sound the T4 and the unplugged/acoustic sound of the PA900.

I have to admit that had this of been 10 or 15 years ago I would have probably dropped everything and went for the Audya - similar to what I did when I let go of my PSR8000 in favour of the Solton X1. It didn't work out for me then and I think it would be the same for me now! I'm really happy with what I've already got but no doubt the Audya is a superb sounding instrument.

Yamaha has good programmed styles.All they have to do is give us better drum kits less compressed, with control for ambiance..They would come really close to Aydia styles which are great for live play

yamaha added audio drums to their latest 2 top arrangers psr 950 and T5, but believe me, a style is much more then just drums. The audio drums didnt make the huge difference people expected..

The whole style engine of the Audya is much more advanced then T5 or even Pa3x, much more advanced in using techniques that make it sound better..


However, still think my pa3x is a more complete beast, having owned both, its clear to me that the pa3x allows players much more real time and edditing controll in making the arrangements and sounds sound just like you want...

But the ajamsonic audya styles are as good as it gets out of the box...they simply sound stunning and very diverse.

I think Yamaha did all these audio styles in a hurry.We can't add new once, we can't even get the once from s950. Yamaha is not making new once.I like my T5, but there is much to desire when it comes to any kind of editing.If they at least come through with software editing of sounds and styles.I am hoping for new drums expansion and software for editing individual drum parts in style...It would be really nice for fixing older styles..Korg already has it pa3x...
Aydia has the best styles, no comparison. .I wanted to get one before I bought T5, but again in North America AJ is the only who can help...

Audya has amazing drums but in the styles I listened to on SoundCloud the drummer would be taking over. Maybe some quieter less busy styles would impress me more. I can't imagine singing with a style where the drummer wants to take over.

The styles in the video sampling in the previous post are much more to my liking.

I have play to many times with this styles in live gigs with different singers and not only this was annoyed, but they like it too....

Its easier to remove tracks then to add them... I think you can easilly tweak these styles down... Where as a less busy style is just what it is.
