Hi Everyone,
I've been searching for a high quality PDF of the KN7000 Reference Guide for many months. I don't hold out hope of finding one at this point but I'm posting here hoping that one of you might have one.
I have my paper version and the scanned version available here and on Willum's site. The problem is that I want to extract the data from the guide and use it in creating various databases.
I've used optical character recognition on the scanned version and it is not too bad but will take many weeks or months of editing to make the data perfect. And to use in a database it does need to be perfect.
One of the aims, for instance, is to create a database of the available sounds along with their MIDI control messages. Obviously for this to be usable there mustn't even be a single digit that is incorrect, so that's why it is important to obtain a properly created PDF. If one even exists.
Actually, the example I gave is not a good one because the MIDI messages for sounds are available in the Cakewalk ins file. But the principle remains, there are many tables of useful data in the reference guide that could be leveraged if this file were available in a properly formatted PDF (ie as good as the User Guide that's available).
The information in the guide is extremely detailed and can be used in so many ways to create programs and work with the KN7000 that I will manually convert the document if I must but I really don't want to do that so I'm posting here in case someone has one... to save me from weeks of drudgery!

Many thanks,
