I posted this old song on PSR Tutorial for a "party" they are having. Thought some here might want to hear it.
Nothing special, just a live version done on the job, using BK7m and controller plus Harmony M for vocals. If you listen hard you can hear some mis-steaks. smile

In the hands of an expert, that keyboard sounds great, and of course that old country singer sounds pretty darned good, too.

Nice job, Don. I still haven't used my BK7m or the PCR-800 yet. I bought a Hammond SK1-73, but for some reason I am shying away from learning how to integrate any of them into my playing.. I'd love to find someone local who would take me by the hand and make me do it...

Things were so much simpler when I owned the G70. I was hoping that a BK5 and then the BK7m would give me those thrills, but I'm not feeling it. As much as I like the Roland styles, the BK series just isn't as 'live friendly' as I'd like. I'm too much of an on-the-fly player to take advantage of the BK features. My s950 is still the easiest thing for me to play. The SK1 is gonna make its debut with me sooner or later, but paired with what is the question..

I'm not sure if you mentioned trying the BK-9, Cassp...several here are very fond of it, and I'm sure one or two were (and perhaps still are) G-70 users.

The real issue with the G-70 is the weight and subsequent difficulty in moving it...the BK-9 certainly sounds the business, and still offers the 76 keys as on the G-70 (plus I believe it will play the latter's styles) but it is far lighter.

Just wondering.
