Can anyone suggest a 'simple' midi file editor. All I am looking to do is very simple cut and paste editing and transpositon etc. Most of the commercial packages are so comlicated to use (to a simpleton like me anyway). It would be great to have it in notation format which I find far easier to work with. Thank you Tony

Hi,
Just a thought. Have you tried Evolution's MIDI Editor? It's available free from a number of outlets.Although it's quite old (1995) and simple, it seem's to meet your requirements. If you'd like a copy get in touch.
Many thanks for all replies. That gives me a few to go at. I have been a registered user of Noteworthy since version 1, brilliant notation program but I find it a little clumsy with midi files. Thanks again Tony
