Attached are the links to several, Custom Yamaha Voices I created for the PSR-3000 a few years ago. They will work on any Yamaha Arranger keyboard. The reason I created them is twofold. First and foremost, I've always noticed that nearly every Grand Piano voice, on any keyboard, sounded a bit thin. Additionally, the Yamaha Grand Piano voice is heavily stereo sampled, therefore, it did not sound good at all when using a mono sound system. Therefore, I opted to create my own, mono, grand piano sounds, sounds that were as close to a real Yamaha grand piano as they could be. I did this while sitting next to a real, Yamaha grand piano and tried my best to duplicate that sound using the effects tools within the PSR-3000. I think I can very close with my efforts. The second reason I created these voices was I just wanted to sound better while performing. I wanted those right hand voices to jump out and sound like the real thing. I think I managed to accomplish this. I then experimented with some other sounds, a couple guitars, and a tenor sax voice - just to prove to myself that it could be done and that it wasn't all that difficult. They too are attached via links. I tried to attach the voices directly to the post, but the file types were not permitted. Yes, I still use them, mainly to offset the stereo sampling of the grand piano. The other voices are just icing on the cake, so to speak. Gary

You're quite welcome, guys. The downloads have been numerous for these voices, several thousand since I posted them a few years ago, and a bunch since I posted them here, so I guess they work pretty good for most Yamaha users. Gary

Just a few, Don, just a few. It always seems to be that way, though. Gary
