Hello everyone,

I am newly registered and I read the post on the SZ-CB7. Is this different than a Panasonic SD USB Reader/Writer? I just bought a new KN7000 from one of the finest gentlemen on the forum, Joe. Since I know squat about this keyboard yet, (it arrived 40 minutes ago) will this give the audio writing capabilities? Also included from Joe is the CD Jukebox V2.4 and the CD Applications & Drivers. Do these normally come with the keyboard or is this a nice extra?

the cb7 is a kit of jukebox software and compatible card reader to transfer digital audio to sd card for 7k playback and was an extra in some regions and supplied free in other regions, depending on the importer. The other cd was included with the 7k in all regions, usb drivers, song manager and audio recorder applications, for technics and midi file transfer and digital audio recording to a pc.

Thanks, technicsplayer. So, in simple plain English, I have this feature to transfer audio to and from the keyboard to and from a computer? This is so new to me.

yes, that's it, with a usb lead, drivers and audio recorder you can digitally record the 7k to wave and then make an mp3 or cd, and with the jukebox program and panasonic card reader can rip and transfer digital audio to an sd card for playback in the 7k.

Thank you so much, technicsplayer!!! What confused me and made me unsure is that nowhere on this reader/writer states that it is a SZ-CB7. It just shows Panasonic SD USB Reader/Writer - nothing more. I almost bid on one on eBay and thanks to you, I saved money. There were at least 16, if not more bids on this item.

your're welcome you have to be careful since other panasonic readers I have come across do not work with the jukebox program.
