I'm looking for a keyboard stand (prefer an x stand) that has an attachable mic stand. Something like this but better quality:

Any other options?

Paul I use this attachment - got it from Frankie V ... I took the rubber/plastic end off one of the bars on my quik lok X stand and this attachment screws into it ... works great ...

The onstage works fine BUT it has to be removed each time you use it as it when folding X stand and loosening mic boom....

I prefer the Quik lok mic boom 30 mm which can be left on the stand when folded.

Not true, Donny ... I leave mine on the X stand all the time ... just loosen the knob and fold it down even with the legs of the stand ...

didn't look like that from the picture but it's good to know now. I still like the quik lok collar system its super tight and strong.

BTw Tony please dont tell me your using that single brace x stand on stage? surprised i have a phobia that they will collapse at some point and they wobble only double braced for me always stop .... cool2

I have both the single and double brace On-Stage x-stands with the shift adjustment lock under the keyboard support bar. The double is sturdier but heavier and slightly bigger. The locking mechanisms are identical, so I have no fear of the stand collapsing. For me it's simply a matter of weight and convenience. I also use the On-Stage mic boom attachment and it has worked flawlessly for me for about 5 yrs. now. I simply loosen the knob at the support bar, swing it down and retighten; it folds neatly with the braces.
