Jerry, this might be a surprise from, probably the biggest gearhead here, but this is absolutely true. Some of the best sounds I've ever heard came from people playing pure junk!
If it not in your head it won't be worth a Sh**, regardless the instrument you're playing.
Anyone interested is a few hundred really nice guitars?
There is no such thing as perfect gear... So you better not spend your time searching for it...
There however is the joy of playing a new instrument, which is priceless... And when you play used instruments, switching gear does not cost that much, even better, most of the time i end up making money from my used instruments...
For example, recently i bought an Fa08 for 900 and sold it for 1200.... From which i spen 900 to buy a used integra 7 ... And i bought a broken V synth GT for 500, and repaired it for €55...
Currently enjoying both of them in combination with my T5 (also bought as used)
In the end i think non gigging musicians are free to switch arrangers whenever they want.... Being a gigging musician however would make me rethink changing equipment 10 times before making a decision..

Congratulations. Sounds like a profitable transaction... So you didn't keep the FA very long. Naturally, the Integra has much more to offer soundwise.

In the end i decided that the keybed of the Fa08 wasnt enough to my liking, and so this deal felt only logical, one thing it made me realise is that i am a big fan of the Roland sound.
