It doesn't really interest me at all. The thing about technology is that if you can't make great music and compose and arrange on your existing keyboard you're never gonna be able to do it on this additional equipment.
It is very rare that you will see a new instrument/technological advance being played that actually demonstrates it alleged superior features over what existed before. You will almost certainly never see a demo going head to head old technology against new technology . But listen if it keeps the economy ticking over and folks are happy buying more toys it's all good . Most keyboard players upgrade their equipment to get the better sounds and features that newer instruments give, unfortunately unless you stick with the same manufacture it means another steep learning kerb to get it to suit. By adding this unit you can still use all your knowledge of your existing instrument, but greatly expand it beyond anything that you could get by upgrading your keyboard to a newer model. (Effectively it gives you a powerful computer with a beautiful touch screen (With gesture control) to run VSTs and a DAW, with the convenience of a Hardware Expander such as the Roland Integra 7) Let’s face it, the difference between the sound quality of the latest VSTs and a 10 year old keyboard is monumental, so why not just add this quality to what you have.
