Remember...no MIDI board is worth it'd salt for vA2 without MANY nicely placed MIDI controller switches.
Just look at any HW arranger...how many switches are needed for normal use..LOTS.
vA2 can have virtually any function assigned to a switch (very easy to do) so we need them for at least the primary arranger functions.

BUT, you can always add a Korg Nano control to the plain Jane MIDI keyboard for lots of switches & more..
BUT placement may not be ideal.

In hopes someday, someone will build a MIDI keyboard that is designed for software arrangers.....WOW...that would be a VERY big deal and would push the sales of software arrangers a great deal IMHO.

Actually the Novation SLM 61 MK II is darn good...and best I know about today.

Well, first there has to be MORE software arranger available.

Unless the big names will join this game, or smaller developers like Dan will associate with someone important, the efforts are way too small and insignificant to be considered.

Then, once we have two or three different soft-arrangers around, there might be a chance for dedicated hardware for it.

I think another 10 years for that. At least 7.

Good News for Novation launchkey series.

It is a very cheap range of keyboards, and they will have led feedback on vArranger

Thank you Novation for starting concidering vArranger and share some technical information

Excellent news, Dan.
Good work on your part to get the communications to/from them, get what you need to add the feature to vA2.

Its a first but a huge step, that Varranger gets recognition by a major manufactorer. Thats what they are, a major player on the midi devices market.

The very nice Novation SL61 MKII work the same way.
