I put this on the PSR tutorial forum but thought perhaps there's someone here that might know....

I found a style that works for this song.

However, Stevie starts out with a one line rhythm on what looks like a Hohner keyboard and carries it through the song.

Anybody know of a style that has this rhythm? Or any suggestions as to how to incorporate this rhythm into a style?

Here's a video of him starting out with this rhythm.

That Hohner line was a real challenge for lots of us early on. A few years ago, someone found the original work, which was lots of tracks...impossible to play as one person in real time.

Notice, when he does the song live today,he uses at least two Hohner players and other keyboards for that natural inefficiency. He looks like he uses a boss delay, too!

Good luck!

On the original studio recording the Clavinet part was over-dubbed at least three times...that's why Stevie has the extra clavinet players on live performances.

The on-board Soul Shuffle style (in the R&B category) on Tyros2/3/4 is fairly accurate, with Intro II being pretty close.

These would be available at PSR-Tutorial.
