Using T3 as part of worship group - goes through local mixer (Mackie) which feeds main house mixer (Allen & Heath) which feeds induction loop system.
I have realised that as soon as I connect the stereo unbalanced audio cable from the local mixer into my Tyros 3 it is picking up the signal coming over the in-house induction loop system and ultimately this can cause feedback. Other cables show the same problem so I'm presuming this pickup is coming via the metalwork inside the Tyros?
I haven't noticed this before. We have recently moved the system out and back in again to support a junior musical production and I am not certain that we are using the same mains cables as was previously the case.
I'm going to go back and check all the system earthing, may even replace all mains wires.
I wondered about using very short jack cables into DI to send over balanced to the mixer, but if the issue is the T3 metalwork this will make no difference at all.
Anyone got any ideas?
