Good morning to you all, (UK GMT)

This is just a thought. On Monday, an old friend dropped in for a drink and a chat and gave us a pair of JVC (sorry Nigel for the advert) cordless headphones. He'd got them from a friend who trades in bankcrupt stock and owed him a few debts of gratitude. These are plugged in to the relevant PCs connected to each of our keyboards. Yes, they do work and nobody complains about the noise. Well, yes, they do actually as they keep thinking we're not listening.

So, if you see a set in the shop or advertised, give them a try. They're well worth the £37.99 ($66.72US) that we could have paid for them.

Happy practice to you all,

Mark & Luce

There are two types, infra-red, basically line of site, and Radio Frequency, I use the latter, they have a range of about 300 meters, and go through walls etc, choose carefully. Walter.

Hello,

A friend of mine bought a pair of Philips wireless headphones for £29.99. He recommended them highly. I went to a local Curry's store, bought a pair of them and they are brilliant. I use them all the time. As Walter pointed out, it is best to have FM (RF) headphones as opposed to the infrared type. I can walk from room to room and close doors behind me. The signal is not diminished in any way.

Best Wishes,

Chuck

Epilogue!! Listened to two pairs last night, Philips at £19.99, and Bose at £275. To be fair the Bose came with a free case. Walter.
