Had one and sent it back but you may want to try one. The preset EQ and compression made it sound way too trebly for me and caused feedback problems I didn't have before. Theres supposed to be a way to change the setting but I couldn't get it to work on mine. The echos and reverbs are good. The Pitch Correction is subtle and to me the best part of the unit.
I should of kept it but my BK9 gives me a decent reverb and EQ built in. As for the pitch corrcection hopefully I sing on pitch enough so as not to need it although it does tighten up your vocals. I also decided I just didn't want to mess with more wires and a 9 volt adaptor.
If you have no other effects on your mic its well worth the price.

My wife really likes her Mic Mechanic. Got it on ebay for $99. It does what it says it does. I used it on a solo gig last week where the house furnished all the amplification and it let my vocals really cut through.

It's a good thing to have. I never liked adaptive tone. It would be nice to capture that when you like it and leave it like that, but as soon you go for a break and come back it will change again..Correction I never use. What do you actually need??

True, I have the best voice technology can buy! smile
Seriously, I'm always looking for stuff. Most of the time I decide against it, but it's fun to shop around!
The best voice processor I ever had may have been the Harmony M. It was simple, small and effective. Sort of like a mosquito, except it did good stuff. smile
