Even though it has a smaller screen than the 750 and 950 it does add the same function buttons like the higher end arrangers and I'm thrilled to see stereo outputs (the 650 only has headphone jack). The polyphony has also been bumped up to 129. I called Yamaha today and there is no price for this model yet or even any news about this yet but if these manuals are available for download than my guess is we will see them rolled out at the Summer NAMM show. I'm hoping the price point will be around $799.00 MAP. It will compete beautifully with the Korg PA300 which also doesn't have any stereo outputs and sells for $849.
they might indeed show this at summer Namm...
Which would also indicate that again we might not see a Motif replacement.. Its rumored to have advanced arps, which essentially are equall to a single track of a Yamaha style.. In the new Motif you can freely combine up to 16 tracks..
On top of that it will have advanced voices, which can be as much as an Sa2 voice, or an Organ world voice, or just a virtuall synthesizer. ...
And many many more advanced features, finally upgrading Yamaha to modern days hardware... Which eventually also will find their way to all the other instrument lines.. Seems it has allready been shown to resellers at the musik messe in a backroom.
I don think they will present both these at a summer NAMM, so its either the new arrangers or the New Motif line..
