I had coffee with BB in our company van the day before a blues festival here in Lexington a number of years ago. He came up to view the stage, which the production company was renting from my company. We watched Johnny Lang do a sound check.

A historic figure in American music, for sure!

P.S. The dude with the double-neck guitar (Mosrite) is ME! 1970...45 evidently rough years later (LOL)!

That's a fantastic photo Russ. Very historic. Do you still have that Mosrite?

No, Nigel, that and every Mosrite I ever played had a bad neck...necks, in this case. I do have a 1962 6/mandolin Carvin, a 6/12 1977 Carvin, a Baritone/6 Gretsch, A 12/6 Dan Electro, A fretted bass/unfretted bass Carvin custom, a 12/6 Ovation acoustic, a Dan Electro bass top, 6 bottom, a weird 8 string/10 String mandolin and a 6/octive 6 Robin (google Pipeline-Stevie Ray and his brother playing one of the other of 12 Robbins made).

Gotta love those double necks.

Despite the bad necks they are still a nice historical piece. But I have enough back problems playing all night with a Les Paul, don't think I could cope with the weight of a twin neck. But I love the look of them.

The Robin is the most practical. The open top note is an A. It is perfectly balanced and a little lighter than a Les Paul.

Interesting piece. Robin just stopped making instruments a few months ago. this one will either be worth a lot more ($1850.00 now) or nothing. This is the Stevie Double you can find him playing with his brother on YouTube.
