Was at my favorite music store, close to home today. They had just gotten in a Yamaha PSR S750.

I've started to rethink a lighter keyboard for just my solo outings. The owner shot me an attractive price but I decided to pass. I just recently sold the S950 to a friend to help him get started.

Oh well, impulsive GAS had me there for a short while. Plus I think Yammie is coming out with new models this fall.

Yes after the introduction of the S670 everyone knows the S770 and S970 are just around the corner...

As well as there is a CVP709 series to be expected later this year, which will actually be a Tyros5+ with 88 keys and some added piano functionallity..

Of course the corollary of new models being introduced is that there will be some great prices on the old models.

The S750 is a great keyboard...essentially an S910 with much better speakers, but minus the harmonizer/microphone input. If I hadn't got such a sweet deal on my Tyros4, I might be playing an S750 today. I really liked the S910, so the S750 would have been the obvious choice.

Good points all.

Patience prevails...

Well, at least for a while.
