I will have both Malwarebytes, Superantispyware on my new computer. Everynight I run Advanced Systems Care. It defrags and does the whole works and shuts downs the system too.

I used AVG, and AVAST before on recommendation from some of you folks. I just would like to know what is used at present in anti Virus. I have been using Avira and the only think with it is it wants to upgrade me every now and again and I'm sure Avast and AVG do the same thing.

Anyone who would mind sharing their experience with any of the FreeWare Antivirus products, I would appreciate the help. My Laptop should arrive tomorrow late.

Thanks for any suggestions. Eddie Shoemaker got me squared away with getting rid of "Bloatware", transferring data, and updating Windows. etc.

I switched from AVG to Avast. Very happy with it.
I don't think it is good to defrag every night.
I do use Malwarebytes.
Not saying it's right, but I very seldom turn my PC off. It's set to ask me when something wants to update, and sometimes that requires a restart.

The free versions of either AVG or AVAST will work just fine. Just stay off the porn sites and you'll be okay.

My 85 yr old cousin just had a baby with his young wife. I think his neighbor had it in for him.
