Remember please, these are recorded live on the job, no editing. Trying to optimize settings on SD7 and welcome all comments.
On Burning Bridges, I actually edited the bass in the style by changing it from Precision to Fingered while starting the song. You can hear it.
On Whad I say, you can't hear the audience response because I was recording straight from mixer line outs.
On JazzJam I was just fooling around with one of the Riff styles.
Sorry so many are slow ballads. It was that kind of night.

Huge improvement, Don. Judicious use the the harmony sounds great, too.

All the best,

Gary cool

I agree with both Gary and Deane. Your level of performing is outstanding. And as someone else remarked you and Ketron are a match made in heaven. Thank you for sharing Don.

That having been said I can imagine other/younger folks being interested in the capacities of the SD7 in other areas than (semi) country music. I hope they will come forward and show us their tunes as well.

regards,
John

Love to hear some others stuff. I do play a lot of things besides country and old rnr, but the past couple of nights have been mostly rich old Texans! And that's what they want to hear.
BTW I didn't mention it but Sweet Home Alabama was a midi file. I think the drum need to come up on it. I seldom use a midi file and this is the first one I played on the SD7. Seemed to work fine.

I’m impressed, real good Don – It doesn’t get much better.

I guess every time I play my Pa900 for people I’ll have to tell the fantastic story of the man who first owned it. (smile)

Don – Nice, clean recordings. Well-played and sung. You mentioned going through the mixer outs. Just wondering----what type of gear or media was used for the recordings? Secondly, was your vocal mic going directly into the mixer or through the SD-7 first?
