In winter I bought a B-ware Bang & Olufsen A8 one-piece stereo system for a heavily reduced price from an Austrian online store.
This package is incredible. Its weight is just 4.5 kilograms (10 pounds), and the wattage RMS is 105W per channel / 210 watts in total. And this is what it sounds like. Incredibly deep, floor-shaking bass and clear, transparent sound.
Comparing it with the big Bose Sounddock 10, the bass is about on a par, the maximum volume may be slightly lower, but the stereo width and clarity as a whole is considerably better. And the weight is half of the Sounddock 10.
I'm going to use it for a large church tomorrow.
BTW: The system has been taken off the B&O product range, and in Germany it is presently being sold for 50-60% of the original price by many stores, 500-600 Euros.
