I'm very excited and a little nervous. I am from Chandler, AZ and our Chandler Little League team is working on playing in the Little League World Series. The City of Chandler is planning on putting together a celebration for them when they come back and yours truly has been approached to play Take Me Out To the Ball Game. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good background and which organ sound to play? I don't have much time to practice.

I have a KN6000 that I upgraded to a KN6500 so the rhythm and sound group selections must be identical, or nearly so, to those you have on your KN6500.

"Take Me Out to the Ballgame" is a waltz played at about 170 beats per minute. I checked all of the waltz rhythms and found the "English Waltz" in the "Ballroom & Showtime" group to be the most appropriate. I muted all the accompaniment parts except the bass and drums. I checked all of the organ sounds available. None of the preset sounds were appropriate i.e., they didn't sound like an organ at a ballpark. So, I selected "Jazz Organ" in the "Digital Drawbar" section and set the footages as follows to obtain a reasonable "ballpark" organ sound:

16' - 8
5 1/3' - 5
8' - 8
4' - 8
2 2/3' - 5
2' - 8
1 3/5' - 3
1 1/3' - 3
1' - 3

You can play around with different footage settings until you achieve the sound you are looking for if the sound I have suggested does not fit for you. Hope this helps you.

If you want to create your own song use the style.

Let me knows if it plays in your 6500. It should for I recorded this song on my 6500 when I had it.
