Hi there, I keep getting "error 85" on a particular SD card when I try to save a song. Does this mean the card is full or something more sinister? This is on the KN7000.

I have just checked the SD card on the computer selecting properties to find if the card is full. The system tells me there is very little free space. However this error message (error 85) does not appear in the Kn7000 documentation. I hope this post helps someone else who gets error 85 and does not know what it represents. Thanks Roger for pointing me in the right direction.
Carol.

There are some other treads here at the board who discuss
this topic as well, so maybe there is some info who might
be for any help:

There are probably some more treads or posts if you perform
a quick search by use of the search utility on this site.

Good luck.

When I purchased my KN7, it came with a very small 8mb SD Card which already had some Technics data on it. I had stored about 8 folders when I got this 'error' message. I did not understand this so I telephoned TECHNOE (UK) and they told me the card was indeed full.

Since then I have filled a 32mg, a 64mg and a 128mb card and each time they have reached their storage capacity, I have got this message. I did asd why the message didn't just say "FULL" and they couldn't tell me.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the replies. I guess we have nailed that Error 85 as a CARD IS FULL indicator. I have added that to the list of Error messages in the original Technics KN7000 Manual, for future reference. Regards, Carol
