Can a midi controller plug into The USB port and trigger instrument sounds of my Pa900?

The Fishman Triple Play Guitar midi controller plugs into a USB port of a computer triggering the instrument sounds.

What I am trying to do:
1-Record Pads, parts of styles with my guitar. In 1984 I had a Roland guitar midi controller which allowed me to trigger the left hand chords of my Yamaha. I was able to strum my guitar and have the keyboard follow my chords.
2-Use the keyboard as a sounds source for my guitar.

Thank you, John C.

I really can't think it wouldn't be able to. If the guitar can output MIDI to a PC over USB the keyboard should respond to it as well.

I have the Fishman TriplePlay and currently can not connect to my s950.
Fishman should soon be releasing a footcontroller the Fishman FC1, which will accept the wireless usb dongle and among other things convert it to standard 5 pin midi which then plan be used with nearly all midi hardware modules and keyboards. Until then there are a few other devices that will also work and all known devices are listed within the enclosed link.

Newb, thanks,
I knew there had to be a way to connect my Pa900 and my guitar.

Nothing new, over 20 years ago I had a Roland midi pick on my Gibson es345 and controlled my Yamaha keyboard. Was able to sing and have full live background.

Thanks again Newb, John C.

Yup ... The Fishman midi interface has been delayed over a month mow. I ordered one in July, and can't WAIT to get it. That's what you need to get your guitar to trigger your arranger. I'm excited!

I use mine alot triggering synth engines from my iPad, and it's SO much fun! The acoustic pickup is routed thru the PA, the humbuckers go to a guitar amp and the midi output feeds the ipad - the sound is SO FAT ... three sources in one blend. When the Fishman controller comes in, I'll trigger the arranger section of my PA900 and do impromptu guitar arrangements with bass and drums. That's what I want it.

Well it looks like we will be waiting a while yet for this FC1.
Krafts Music's site states they are expecting them Dec. 14th now.
Dec 14th? I'm like you Dave, Been waiting for months.
But they keep pushing it back. Hopefully the reason behind the delay is some form of
feature upgrade, or build quality upgrade.
