ON my older WIN XP Pc I could have a few different file windows mp3's, Txt, etc,..open at the same time and when I shut off the unit and later restarted it those same windows would be in the same locations on the display screen.....

Now with my newer WIN 7 PC and have those same windows open when I shut down....when I start up again those windows don't retain their locations anymore and I have to reset them where I want them.......

Is there a way to lock the open windows so that they are in the same places on the screen I want upon power-up?....
what am I missing any help appreciated..
