Hi AJ,

It will not help contacting Ketron direct as a user, as we all know by now. I have two suggestions for Ketron. I hope that you are able to relay these to Ketron please:

1. The lower & upper voices attached to the style should already change to the next variation selection as soon as a "fil to the next variation" is selected, like Yamaha does. This works much, much smoother for the voice transition.

2. Maybe this is already in the pipeline for a new Audya - The Audya is the perfect instrument to use live, real recorded human choir voices as per the live audio guitars. It is possible to outdo the Tyros 5 a million times in this regard. All it will take is some recording on Ketron's behalf & viola, something EXTREMELY useful would be added to the Audya series.

Kind regards,

Henni

Oh nice, a Ketron wish list....

- add pads, preferably midipads..
- support for the stems format.. (4 layer audio format by NI and others)
- round robbin for midi drums..
- and an 88 key version or a module version... With high grade piano sound (damper and string resonance)
- more room for expansions...

Maybe they could also start working together with GSI.. A Gemini Dream organ with Ketron styles would be

The Audya already has more than pads in it's stock standard version - it has audio & midi loops (ala pads, except they are audio & follow the chords perfectly) that could simply be browsed into any track of any variation of any style. And to top it all, it comes with it's fills already built in! Hard to comprehend until you start toying with it yourself...

are you referring to DJ loops?

If so, i could only select a single Deejay loop in a menu of a menu.... there are 4 pads with frontpannel access on the Korg and Yamaha, no real time audio transpose tough... but they sync with the beat and midi pads follow chords..

No,

Not DJ loops. The Audya has a great many 8, 16 & 32 bar loops of all sorts of instruments, both audio & midi, that can simply be browsed into any part of any style, replacing the current midi section with the new loop. The process of doing so is called "style modelling".

It's like multipads on steroids!

You can find more info

here
&
here

Cheers.

These are the stock standard "Multipads". The Ajamsonic upgrade ads many, many more. All of these come with fills, many with extra riffs & all sorts of surprises built into it by default.

How is that different from creating a new style with parts from different styles?

Pads add something on top of styles... in my case mostly 4 extra tracks used to make a style feel more dynamic... or even replacing the accomp parts entirely..

There you go, EXACTLY as stated! These are no ordinary, dull, repetitive short multipad loops. Maybe I'll do a few recordings & post here so you can understand better...

I am hard pressed for airtime for my modem, so I kept the loops short...

I kid you not when I say these three demos in total are not even a 1000th of what's available!

Track 1. Drums = Audio drums + User drums libraries
Track 2. Drums 2 = Groove 1 + Groove 2 libraries
Track 3. Piano bank library
Track 4. Guitar Bank 1 library
Track 5. Guitar bank 2 library
Track 6. Arp&licks library
Track 7. Audio & User guitar library

The lists supplied above have grown HUGELY with all the Ketron & Ajamsonic updates & reflects only a small part of the available loops.
