rosetree Unregistered	I just got to know about this by chance: Reading a German review about the BK-9, I saw a recent comment by a user who contacted Roland and was told this pedal was no more available. http://www.roland.com/products/fc-7/ Another one of Roland's typical slaps in the users' face.

I don't think it has to do with being more advanced, e.g.the voice editing in synths is much, much more sophisticated etc., but this pedal is a necessary control tool for some, and you are right Roland ignores that. But the worst thing is that they remove an accessory item for instruments that are still being sold, whose FC-7 pedal jack is lying idle now. How can you fool customers like that? It's arrogant behavior.

I've only used it a few times and thought of selling it but then again maybe I would use it in the future. Good thing I kept it. Not so much the BK9 but it's almost a necessity for the Bk7m. Donny, my dealer friend's tech person made a simple foot controller. It doesn't have 7 switches whereas the Elane replacement of the FC7 looks and functions just like the FC7 with 7 switches. I purchased some specialty cables and a wireless midi system from them last year. They should have the FC7 replacement in stock. By the way, I wonder if the BK9 receives MIDI to call up functions like Korg arrangers, or sysEx messages like Ketron? _________________________ "You Shall Know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free."
