I still toy with trying this for some smaller venues. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Spacestation3 I run vocals through both my PSR and Tyros. Most of the time I just go to my Bose Compact, hard to beat. But this has had my curiosity for some time. Thoughts? _________________________ It’s all about the learning

If there is anything that I like better with the Bose, it is that you should be six feet away from the SS to fully appreciate the "Bloom", of full stereo like effect. That only means that if you are on a cramped stage, everyone enjoys it, but, you not so much. As a matter of fact, I almost didn't buy it. I don't what type of music you do or where you do it but how about the power? To me an 8" speaker is an 8" speaker and theres only so much bottom end it can do. It is advertised as a monitor but so many guys are using it alone to cover their situations. Wish I could try one out. This is good to know as the idea of one speaker for stereo interests me also. I heard this same comment one other time...that is that the SS3 sounds best when 3 to 4 feet away and in a corner or by some reflective surface. It would be placed close to me for most of my gigs. One other person(on that forum that Bernie mentioned) placed the SS3 on an amp stand with the side speaker down and was able to use the unit closer to him when he played. _________________________ It’s all about the learning
