Hi All.
I intend to record on the KN7000. Music and voice.
I have tried the microphone into the KN7000 and managed to achieve a reasonable sound, I think I will get a better sound when I get more used to the microphone settings, the microphone setting don’t hold when changing styles etc.
I feel sure I can overcome this by saving the style and microphone settings in expand mode!
What I am seeking is advice from fellow members who use the KN7000 for Music/voice recording.
I always use an expression pedal! But I find the pedal is controlling the microphone volume as well as the KN7000 volume. Can this be corrected? I would be lost without the use of the pedal, no light or shade.
I would appreciate help on any technique that works.
On previous KN’s I have used an Aleses Microverb unit, I connected the microphone to the unit and then stereo out of the unit into stereo line in (KN2000) then stereo line out to a recorder. The KN2000 did not have a microphone input; the Microverb was used to increase the microphone signal to the KN2000. Advice on microphone settings is needed for the KN7000, please!!!
Regards.
Joe.

OK Joe here is where you will find what you are looking for. I’m forcing you to read. ha ha ha

YOU CAN SELECT WHAT YOUR EXPRESSION PEDAL CONTROLS.
In your Technics instruction book (manual) Page 155 (bottom of the page) and Page 180 Expression Pedal

MIKE SETTING CAN BE PROTECTED.
Page 67 Expanded panel memory and page 184 Data Protection.

If you do not understand what is written please let us know.
