With Don's new PA4X sounding so good, I decided to get my Korg PA 80 out from under the blanket. Still a pretty decent keyboard.

I wrote this song based on Ephesians 6 in the Bible. Recorded live into my Roland digital recorder.

Thanks Donny, revisiting my Korg may substitute for the PA 4X that I can't afford.
I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I was hoping for some feedback in regard to the sound of this somewhat vintage keyboard. Lots of views but yours is the only reply. much appreciated!!!

God Bless,
Don

Ive never been able to figure that keyboard out. It just seems to be set up for crystal clear vocals. All my Korg stuff has just the reverb that is on the style that I'm using and all I've ever done is take the sound directly off the stereo output of the keyboard into my Roland Digital Recorder where I master with usually a vocal compression setting.
Most of my recent stuff has been direct recorded from my Yamaha's audio recorder. Sounds like I should get back to the Roland external recorder. Thanks! I sincerely appreciate the feedback. That's what makes these forums a great resource. Would like to have received more feedback but I respect your opinions and I know you have a discerning ear, so the one response from you was a quality one. Thanks again!

God Bless,
Don

Just listen to your recording, sounds great! I played the PA80 for many years, and I still think it sounds great. Your vocal sounds great too!

Thanks guys. I was basically looking for feedback on whether it sounded dated compared to the present generation Korgs. It may not have the latest great sounds and DNC etc. but It still sounds pretty good to me. I thank you for confirming my observations.
