WTG Col good luck .........Bose compact killer?...looks kool enjoy Just imagine where the world of sound systems would be if Bose had not introduced vertical array systems to musicians. We would still be lugging around 100-pound speakers on refrigerator dollies and transporting our gear in full size vans. Additionally, it was Bose that introduced high-impact housings, replacing traditional composition board, and later dense plywood cases. It was Bose that introduced space-age speakers that were a fraction of the size, yet provided incredibly crisp, clear sounds that are superior to anything we worked with in the past. It was Bose that introduced pulse modulation into their sound systems that changed the way sounds disperse, a transition that swept away conventional sound system 45-degree coverage to a whopping 210 degree coverage, and with essentially no fall-off. To me, it appears as other manufacturers are playing catchup and trying to imitate Bose by copying and introducing similar sound systems at a lower price. Bose Killers? No, Bose imitators. Good Luck, Col, Gary
