Donny, it's neat to watch the vids of these bands, however, after going through one of several websites for booking wedding bands, it appears that the larger bands are rarely booked. Take a look at https://www.gigmasters.com/search/wedding-band-maryland and then look at their calendars - most have just one job booked for all of 2016 - big deal. And, when you think about it, how many young couples are going to book a 6 piece band? I would proffer that would be a minuscule percentage at best. The kids want loud, head banging DJs, which satisfies about 12 people at the wedding table, while the audiences, probably averaging 150 older folks (mainly 55 to 85 year olds), want no part of that.

Another fun day in Paradise, (Which is where that band you posted works)

Not down here, Donny - they usually book one or the other, but rarely both. Only the rich folks up north can afford both. wink And, did you look at the calendars of those 25 listed bands? Most were pretty barren. Just sayin'

exactly Jerry...thanx for the info..I get so many requests to play kb with a wedding band again but my schedule wont allow it or do I prefer to get into that whole wedding scene again after doing it 25 years in the past,..it's much more involved and I'm happy being a Power single act..
