I'm interested in getting one. I emailed Sweetwater to get info on weight, sound dispersion, and so forth. I have the Maui 11 and the Maui 28 by LD-Systems. The Maui 28 is for big venunes, and the Maui 11 for small rooms. The only problem with the Maui 11 is that the column speaker does not fold up in half like the Maui 28. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMQ6i9xJfA0

I have 4 Bose Compacts and I play in 3 different large venues regularly, I purchased 2 Turbosound IP 1000, Ohhhhh MY GOD........!!!!!!!!!
Before with all 4 compacts struggled to cover the large venues, now, with Only 2 IP 1000 I have plenty and even double the power if I want it....this in my opinion, are the best deal, I pay for BOTH IP1000 less than what you only could buy one Maui 28... I like them so much, that I am going to sell 2 of my Bose compacts and get another 2 Turbosound, this time perhaps the IP 2000....in case I need more bass.....
Manuel, It sounds like you got a lot more speakers than what you paid for. Good for you! Judging from the subs, it seems that the IP2000 is comparable to the Maui 28, but still $500 cheaper. I got my Maui speakers at dealer cost through a dealer friend, but when I saw the IP500, I was interested in it because my Maui 11 column speaker does not split in two and it is a little cumbersome to carry it. Sweetwater told me that none of the IP series comes with a split column speaker, either. If that's not an issue, the IP series seem to be a very good choice. I noticed that they have great reviews, too.

The LD Maui 11 and 28 have been re-worked, V2 has added a few things, like being able to seperate the columns on the 11, I have done a shoot out between all of these, and the Turbosound does sound nice, the LD Maui seems a bit fuller, and less hollow sounding, while the HK and RCF win overall. But the price is close to double
