What a fantastic instrument!! ......I hope they design a much bigger display screen & a bit lighter and smaller on the next Tyros model making it more gig friendly.

Its beyound me, that they did not add this feature to the Montage...
And by the way, did younknow that the first keyboard with ensemble voices in it was actuallly the Fantom G, not standard, but the ARX3 brass board came with some sensational ensemble's and they consisted of 6 voices max, thats 2 more then Yamaha. Highly edditable they where..

This is what Roland did 7 years ago, it took Yamaha 5 years to catch up.... All 3 ARX boards where amazing
Again, its a mysterie to me, that Roland is not emphasising this technollogy in a workstation... Sounds are awesome, edditing possibilities are incredible and graphically its beyound anything we have seen in other keyboards..

I have a G7 that I haven't touched in about 1 1/2 yrs, but now you've got me interested in this ARX-03 board because of the ensemble voices. Problem is, I scoured the internet and can't find this board ANYWHERE. The ARX-02 yes, ARX-03 NO. Any idea where one might be found?

That's a very good video for the ARX-03 card, it would have been nice to see what other cards they would have brought out if the range had continued.
everyone complained about how expensive they where.. but it was so much more then just sounds, it was a whole souncard, inclusing their own polyphony and effects on a chip/card..
But where to find these? now that will be a hard bargain, as because of the price they where hugely undersaled
The other 2 cards are just as advanced...

Couldn't you easily incorporate an "ensemble sound" into the Montage and probably do so much more with it easily.

Yes they probably could, but they decided not to do so..
Same with the sa2 voices, the advanced piano technollogy (scm) and some other things...
You know you can set the 4 ensemble voices each to their own midi channel, and then add those midi channels to 4 synth sounds on the integra (or whatever module) .... I played with this for a few days, and you can get incredible results with that..
What i mean, for those montage developers, they should realize you can do much more with ensembles then just traditional ensembles..
