Hi all,
I've decided to return to organ playing after all these years trying to set up keyboards to play like an organ;to this end I've taken the plunge and am awaiting delivery of a SX-EA5.I therefore will be unable to hang on to my trusty KN7000 due to space (and wife!)limitations so will be reluctantly be selling same with Technote stand,midi bass pedals,two expansion boards,sd cards,etc.
I live in the west London area.

Good luck and all the best to your move, which is the reverse of downsizing. I wish the EA5 has a longer pedal board though. You will enjoy its speakers and powerful output of 120 Watts.

Hi Khai,yes,I'm really looking forward to taking delivery of the EA-5(Monday),I auditioned a GA-1 and EA-3 yesterday and if you like organ flutes,which I love,then these Technics organs certainly deliver.In fact,as you're no doubt aware,EA-5 has six types,plus that that wonderful big warm sound that eminates in stereo from the cabinet which is so difficult to achieve with a keyboard set up.
I'll let you know how I get on(bearing in mind the last organ I had was SX-EX35 many moons ago!)

I am excited for you too. Have you ever considered getting a GA2, which I believe has the best combination of features? It has a larger LCD screen (320 X 240 dots) than GA1, EA5 and EA3 (all have 240 X 64 dots), and a one and a half octave pedal board (strangely, even the GA3 has only one octave). Moreover, the GA2 is far less heavy and expensive than the FA1, the ultimate model, which has two 5-octave manuals and a 2-octave pedal board (unless I have not been aware of something even better than FA1).

Khai,yes I actually was aiming for the GA-3 until I discovered the dimensions of the cabinet.I think it would occupy the bulk of my music room!So the EA-5 is the same technology as the GA's in a more compact format.Yes,I realise the GA-2 has a longer pedalboard(the 2 seems quite rare in the UK),anyway,I have enough problems with 13 notes!
Tell me,have you burnt any cds with your instrument?

If you mean audio CDs of my keyboard music, yes, but no yet for my organ music. At least the keyboards are portable! The main problem about recording is that my instruments are not in the same room as my computer equipment.

My best friend recently is helping me to burn DVDs of my performances on the GN series originally recorded on VHS many years ago. How time flies, for the lean and bashful man that was my youthful self has disappeared from the world.
