Larry, that link doesn't work. I looked it up on Google and saw this. Is that like it?
I had never heard of it.

I really like Les Pauls but as I have got older they are so heavy it is a bit too much for me over a 4 hour gig. Especially when I bend forward to play keyboard parts. But I like them sitting down to play.

Nigel, I have a Heritage Studio Lite. It is from the 80's, when all the good builders left Gibson to form Heritage. Just like a LP,but lots better construction and a lot lighter.

Guess what? NEVER PLAYED!

Look it up! It's sunburst.

Sounds perfect Russ. I will look that up. I had been thinking of getting an SG just to get that Gibson sound without the weight. But maybe the Heritage is the way to go.

Hey, you could trade a certain Guild for it. I'll send you a photo. this one is 35 years old, without a mark.

I was reading an article the other day about how ebony and some mahogany wood have become protected and illegal to use Fender and Gibson are going to start looking at alternate woods for guitars. It will be interesting to see how that works out.

Martin bought the last ebony saw mill just so they could close it down.

Did you ever see Dave Carroll's video about when he traveled United Airlines and they broke his Taylor acoustic. They wouldn't take responsibility for it it so he made this video. After millions of views they changed their position. Now they use it as a training video for their staff. It really is a great song he wrote for it.
