Yesterday Behringer/Turbosound came to my shop and demoed the IP1000 for me.

Very nice system, bluetooth, multiple eq curves with 7 bands of frequencies, bass mid treble, bluetooth mixing with eq control

It's in the same family as the LD Maui 11, but $400 less

$300 less than the compact

has a more neutral sound that the LD Maui's

Definitely a great product so far

Frank / Donny

Thanks for the info. The demo shows the 1000 with what seems like only 1 top piece whuile the smallest 500 has the tallest. Confusing, maybe they weren't set up correctly.
The 2000 just looks to be too big for moving easily.
I'd love to compare the 1000 to one of my JBLs, especially with some organ / bass / drums stuff. DJ applications too. I like the 2X8" sub combo. For gigs with dance music I would go with a two.
Post any more info if you can, I'll be watching.

Again Donny / Frank thanks for the updates. What really interests me is the coverage of these systems. My JBLs, while great, are a bit directional so unless I point one right at me I don't really hear what the audience hears. And you need to be a bit away from them for the sound to spread out. In small spaces with them right close to me I feel I need a small monitor and I don't want to have to do that. More equipment to bring is not the way to go for me now.
Frank you said you got a demo from the company, will you be stocking these? I'd like to know your opinion after you get to use them for yourself.
