I'm revising my "computer" setup. Buying a new laptop-peripherals-programs,etc, already traded in my 56k dial-up for Broadband (now I can get on Synthzone in 5 seconds instead of 5 minutes), and finally a new email address.

I have a Yahoo account I've had for years and I have no problem at all with it. But I want to get another email address for business matters and leave the Yahoo one for personal only.

For some reason, every web site I've gone to that advertises free email service, I can't seem to register. I always get some kind of a "your registration did not go through" message.

This morning I tried again with "mail.com." That wouldn't go through either. I added their site to "accept cookies" on my Firefox browser....still won't go through.

I don't want to use anything connected to Google so I'm staying away from G-mail.

So, I'm a "simple" guy, does anyone know a "simple" site for "simple" email where I can set up another email address in a "simple" way.

Set up a second Yahoo account.
Or your broadband provider should give you an email address with them.

I didn't know you could do that...I'll look into it right now.




I didn't know that either....I'll call them in the morning and ask if that is so, and........if "that is so," I'll just go with that. Sometimes we look for complicated solutions to simple problems, don't we...........

Two Yahoo emails will work...with one little annoyance. You have to sign out of one to get to the other. Not a problem if you don't select "remember me". I know couples who choose Yahoo email for him and another, like Hotmail, Gmail or the ISP's email for the other so they don't have to keep signing in and out.

That's true Eddie. I have a Yahoo, a Bellsouth (former internet provider) Suddenlink (current internet provider), Gmail, and my own domain Donmasonmusic.com. Probably have some more if I looked!
