Yesterday i sat about an hour with the Korg pa4x, just fidling around with it, and then it grabbed me..

What makes Korg styles so good... Well, actually its not their top knodge quallity, but its their arrangements... They are meant to be backings, and thats how they are arranged, where many of the Ketron and Yamaha styles espescially the higher varriations get in the way of my playing, the Korg default styles all keep sitting where they belong... In the background..

And offcourse the drums, we dont need audio drums, these drums are way better then the Yamaha audio drums..

No, i set up the pa4x styles on my Tyros, and they work quite well with Yamaha sounds, to make it even better, using Kronos drums with styles is a blast.. Kronos drums are even better then pa4x drums.. espescially when using effects.. i have some drum sets with roundrobbing they sound so realistic...

As said, the style quallity is not in the sounds, but in the arrangerments, and someone has been so good to convert all Korg styles to Yamaha format..

it only takes some time to eddit them with the right instruments and ballance...

i dont see any reason to buy a pa4x... except when they both have a pa4x 88 key version and a module of the Kronos.. or a pa4x module... (but that would be to get a montage into my setup...

I'm just wondering about how you do this "transfer" or conversion?

There are programs like style converter that can help you do this..

I downlaoded the converted pa4x styles as a batch from the evil interwebs..

Yes, I know there are programmes, I've been using EMC for ages, and have the latest update.
PA4x is not present but will be covered within a month or so.
Do You know which sofware used to convert PA4x to T4, as I understand from fora, the PA filestructure are quite different from before?

... and the interwebs are just as evil as people make it to be...... as in the "real life" ... shocked
