The weather was absolutely beautiful today, sunny, temperatures in the low 70s, a light breeze from the northwest, just perfect, especially when I watched the boat going into the water. Then, a van load of gear, sails, electronics, radar, cookware, etc... had to be loaded on the boat, which was the tough part.
More to come,
Gary (the retired)

I suspect it would work on just about anything. All you need is a long pole to fly the wind sock from and most birds will avoid the area like the plague. I also have an inflatable snake on the boat that works fairly well as long as the wind is blowing a big and makes it move. The only birds that like snakes are red tailed hawks, which eat them.
