At the KN-7000, I am wondering whether it is possible to change and adjust the intensity of the screen display to a brighter or darker display.

Yes ther is a contrast toggle at the bottom left of the screen.

Right next to the help button on the bottom left corner of the display screen there are contrast buttons. One will make the screen bright, the other wil make it darker. You may set the intensity from 1-100. When you set the intensity to the level you desire, press the write button on the right side of the screen to save your changes.Quincy

Got it, and it works.

That will be great to be able to change the contrast outdoor, and to be able to see the information on the screen when the sun shins

Sorry to have to tell you that the screen is not non-reflective and however much you alter the contrast you will NOT be able to see the screen outdoors when the sun shines even with dark glasses on...

Sun Shade can be a solution for seeing the information on the keyboard screen outdoor.

Is the Kn7000 surrounding plastic susceptible from sun damage?
