Just a minor feature I didn't like about the Nano 600:
There is a "fragile"
plastic adapter that you have to slide onto the bottom of the satellites to be able to attach them to the base pole mount.
In the real world of gigging...this plastic and "fragile" adapter is not durable enough to survive the vigors of road set-up challenges.
I'll agree,... this is a minor annoyance.... but setting up and breaking down in a haste is annoying enough without have to deal with the challenges of this
plastic adapter breaking or getting
lost somewhere in transit.
As I've just tested my Nano 300 against the Bose Sounddock 10 (see mini PA system thread) and recognized its performance, I've begun to have my eye on a Nano 600, although I had always thought it to be a bit too heavy for my purposes.
But actually, as long as there are no stairs in the way and one can use trolleys or carts, it really doesn't make a significant difference.
So, the latest threads I could find about the Nano 600 are more than a year old. What are your experiences with it? Have some of the 2015 owners moved away to other systems again (DNJ, Jim Laing,...)? Or are you still happy with it?
And is a Nano 600 definitely better than two Nano 300? Is the sound quality of the top speakers better than those of the 300?
