Just some information for those of you who are changing/have changed to the KN7000. With regard to the KN7000 styles : some of them, although they have the same name as those on the KN6000, have quite different voicing and rhythm content, particularly on the Intros and 'Outros'. Two examples I have found so far are, 'Rhumba' and 'Stride Piano' - there are probably more. If a sequence recorded using the KN6000 'Jazz Ballad' is played on the KN7000, it uses a new style called 'Slow Jazz', which is a good style, but did not suit the two tunes which I had originally recorded on the KN6000. The KN6000 'Orchestra Swing' ties up with a new KN7000 'Swing Ballad' style. Again, these are only a couple which I have found so far, whilst working through my KN6000 sequences, which I have transferred to KN7000.
The moral of this story ? If you record a sequence using a Technics 'Internal' Style, then if it is to be easily transferrable to the next generation keyboard, and you want the style to remain the same, then copy the Technics style into the Composer and save the composer file with the sequence
I've managed to edit a few of my sequences, by altering the configurations, but it's quite time consuming. So, if you've got a large collection of sequences, which directly used 'Built-In' KN6000 styles, if you want the styles to sound the same on the KN7000, you may have a bit of work to do
I seem to have a vague recollection of this advice being offered on the forum some time ago.

Hence my reason for 'Extracting' the KN6000 Built-In styles.

yes, the same thing happens every time time people change keyboards, regular as clockwork, and the same answer has to be given. They actually complain that the style is not the same, perhaps not thinking through that this argument would mean that all the styles would never change on a new board if they wanted them all the same as those on the old board! If you follow the advice on page 21 of the book you can't go wrong.

Personally I identify the duplications before I save all the previous styles, Bill, because this saves a lot of work.
