I've always dressed for the occasion while on stage, and, I was frequently complimented for this by the ladies, the ADs and others that hired me. Wearing a pair of ragged-assed jeans, stupid looking tee shirt, dirty work boots, long hair and unshaven is not how to impress an audience or a perspective customer, IMO, but what the Hell do I know?
