So I tried connecting my KB61 to my Microbrute via MIDI but nothing happens. I even bought a universal adapter for the KB 61, which does not work. So I tried running the KB 61 off my mac still nothing?

Is the KB61 too old. It will play Garageband on my mac via USB, but the MIDI just won't work. Any thoughts?

I read in the manual online, can't find my copy, but it looks like I need an adapter to use the MIDI port. So, I bought one on line. So, I will see if this works.

My adapter arrived today and my K61 powers up. So now I can use it too control my MicroBrute synth.

Instead of buying one expensive synth, I would look for more smaller less expensive synths, and connect them to my controller keyboard. That way I can have different sounds, and some more freedom.
