I've made an appointment with AJ to get my Audya repaired. The right channel went out so I'm making a trip to Delaware to see him. I just wanted to say something about the Audya keyboard. It's a totally an amazing live platform to play on. I'm going to retire it after I get it repaired but only use it in my studio from now on because of its excellent sound quality. By using the USB interface and digital outputs, It will make a great addition to my arsenal. I just purchased a Korg PA4X to perform live. If you'd like to hear me play my Audya, you can Listen to my recordings up on SoundCloud under Mike Lorenz and Kim Buehler. Give them a listen, I think you'll like the sound.
This is more or less unique to the 76 note Audya. Problem will likely be with the audio cable that connects from the sound board to the top panel pcb, the cable tends to move around a bit and it seems like the connections oxidize. Clean the plug and socket, fasten a self adhesive cable wrap mount about 30mm from the top panel socket and use a cable wrap to keep the cable still - normally does the trick.
Definately some nice Jazzy tumes on your soundcloud channel... And a nice voice. The audya sounds wonderfull, makes me wondering if the pa4x will sound just as good.
For the rest all i see is some great service, both from AJ as well as from Ketron UK with a possible do it yourself solution. This boasts my confidence in Ketron, knowing that we also have a reliable dealer overhere in Holland.
I think the catuall fail of the output is something that can happen to any keyboard, i am allways more interested to see how solving the probelm gets handled. In this case, it looks like you are getting pro support.
