Got a New GM at my standing gig he i finding issues with every one

his issue with me is my T4 on the piano mind you it been that way for 2 years and I have grown there business in that bar 1000% and everyone love what I do bid following now ect

it just on guy who seem to want to chang what is not broken

so I have opted to offer a smaller unit and black in color

thus the S970 i use mostly song mode midi file and play grand piano

my act is build around my set up and I do what I do . I also play electric Guitar as well in the late set

i mostly play to full house so going backwards to just piano or to ipod tracks not what I want to do , I would like to offer a plan by taking off the silver unit and putting a smaller black unit

just need feed back on sounds v T4 I know keybed is a issue but i play Grand a lot and guitar as well so keyboard will be for other inst like sax flute lead guitar ect and some piano but midi file player verry important here screen inp as well

need some feed back before I tell him to go pound sand and take my following somewhare else I am trying to try to fix issue

no he is not informed , been there 2 mo and has different ideas they tried the piano only before it was a big bust

it a high energy bar demo mid 20 to mid 50 4 big screens sports playing, loud people ect

i can play anywhere not a issue just was hired to do what i do and everybody love what I do good following ect

just one guy big problem

he is doing this to another musicican as well in another room it not me the bar is up over a million dollers over last year sales

i am just trying to offer a solution I can do a piano gig just dont want too after everybody come in expecting higher energy music

but post is about T4 v S970 I can play other places if it get to that i will get another gig in a week if that is what i want to do trying to make this guy happy if i can if not well then it will go back to what it was empty room

It sounds like the GM thinks the big silver colored Tyro looks tacky on top of the grand piano. I'm not sure if he'd like any keyboard , even a black one on on top of the grand piano. Maybe put your keyboard on a regular stand to the side of the grand piano or put your midi file tracks on a device like a laptop or tablet. I know it sucks when these GMs nit pick on little things like this, but it's the way it is...

Oh yeah, other than the color, nobody at the bar will notice a difference in sound between a Tyros and the 970. I'm sure you will though...

how about making a DUMMY Piano shell for the tyros?

I thought about doing that but not a lot of room he just a problem fing with everybody you see one of those guys

all other managers are not fans of him they have gone thru 3 GM in 2 years so who knows

prob the look but it a fast pace bar not a wine room like he thinks i not in any trouble of loosing the gig have contract but just trying to please maybe the other option is a way i pack the place kinda hard to understand so we will see what happens not worried just want to do what I do best for crowed people want dont stop believing and rock and all love that one guy that is not even there at night wants solo piano kinda strange situation

there is a Grand there already on T4 there is vga out for computer monitor is there a way to do it with a I pad so I can see the Tyros screen if so I could set unit on side and take off Piano

dont really want to do that but if i need to I could try

what is the procedure I know with a vga screen but tab I do not ??
